The Research Dialogue

An Online Quarterly Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed and Refereed Research Journal

Multidisciplinary Interdisciplinary Peer-Reviewed Global Scholarship Quarterly Publication
OUR SCHOLARLY VISION

Creating Meaningful Dialogue Across Disciplines

The Research Dialogue is an online quarterly multidisciplinary peer-reviewed and refereed research journal committed to providing an inclusive and intellectually rigorous platform for the publication, exchange and dissemination of original scholarly research across a broad range of academic disciplines.

The journal seeks to bring together researchers, academicians, educators, professionals and research scholars from different intellectual traditions and disciplinary backgrounds. Its purpose is to encourage meaningful scholarly dialogue, promote original research, strengthen interdisciplinary understanding and facilitate the exchange of evidence, ideas, theories and innovative approaches across academic boundaries.

The Research Dialogue recognises that many contemporary academic, scientific, educational, technological, cultural, economic and social challenges cannot be adequately understood through a single disciplinary perspective. The journal therefore encourages both discipline-specific scholarship and research that integrates knowledge, methodologies and perspectives from multiple fields.

01   AIM OF THE JOURNAL

Advancing Knowledge through Scholarly Research

The primary aim of The Research Dialogue is to advance knowledge by publishing original, relevant, rigorous and ethically prepared scholarly research from a wide range of academic disciplines. The journal aims to provide researchers with a credible forum for communicating research findings, theoretical insights, methodological developments and innovative perspectives to national and international scholarly communities.

The journal also seeks to encourage productive dialogue between disciplines, institutions, researchers and professional communities. Through its multidisciplinary orientation, it provides opportunities for scholars to examine complex questions from diverse intellectual perspectives and to develop new connections between theory, research, policy and professional practice.

SCHOLARLY PRIORITIES

What We Look for in a Manuscript

✓ Originality: The manuscript should present original analysis, evidence, interpretation or scholarly insight.

✓ Academic Relevance: The research should address a meaningful question, problem or scholarly issue.

✓ Methodological Soundness: Research methods should be appropriate to the objectives and clearly explained.

✓ Scholarly Contribution: The study should contribute meaningfully to knowledge, theory, policy, practice or methodological development.

✓ Research Integrity: Data, analysis, references and declarations should be accurate, transparent and ethically prepared.

✓ Clarity: The manuscript should be logically organised and communicated in appropriate academic language.

Dialogue Beyond Disciplinary Boundaries

The Research Dialogue encourages scholars to move beyond rigid disciplinary boundaries where the nature of a research problem requires broader intellectual engagement. Interdisciplinary research may draw upon theories, concepts, methodologies and evidence from different academic traditions to generate richer explanations and innovative solutions.

The journal nevertheless expects multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary submissions to demonstrate genuine integration and scholarly coherence. Merely combining unrelated topics or disciplinary terminology without a clear intellectual relationship does not by itself constitute meaningful interdisciplinary research.

GLOBAL ORIENTATION

Local Research with Global Scholarly Relevance

The Research Dialogue welcomes research addressing local, regional, national and international contexts. Locally grounded studies can make important scholarly contributions when they provide rigorous evidence, develop contextual understanding or generate insights relevant to wider academic discussions.

Comparative, international, cross-cultural and collaborative research is particularly encouraged because such studies help scholars examine similarities, differences and relationships across different social, educational, scientific, economic, technological and cultural environments.

WHO MAY CONTRIBUTE?

An Inclusive Platform for Scholarly Contributors

The journal welcomes submissions from established researchers as well as emerging scholars whose manuscripts meet the journal's standards of originality, academic quality and research integrity.
